_^*Fire*^_

A warm fire...a good source of light and life.
Deep within itself, it is driven by an urge:
...to protect what it cherishes the most.
But in order to do so, he has to keep a distance from them...
...in order not to destroy something precious with his own power.
"this deep concern he holds">>>he understands that it can bring him to an excessive selflessness.
So much so that he doesn't realize that he is slowly destroying himself with all that he has done not minding his own needs.
What is a simple fire to do when his only choice is to stay behind, watching from afar so that it wouldn't burn anything that gets close to it?

...T_T...

The day you took my ring off,
is the same day my fear grew.
The fear of that bond that connects us...
to be torn apart piece by piece.
Little by little, I begin to realize...
that what they said was becoming a reality.
The pieces ARE starting to fall.
But I do not want to make the same mistake again.
If last time, I let you take it off...
without me knowing of the consequences,
this time, I will do whatever it takes not to repeat history.
I know I made some mistakes too against you...
and I don't know if you're willing to forgive me if I would say sorry.
But I still hope that you would be understanding enough...
to accept me back as a friend...

"I LOVE YOU"

Jeremy from the new Korean drama "He's Beautiful" said:
"These words were so precious to me,
that I held onto it dearly.
But holding onto it too dearly
can mean that it can't be said again"

^_^..awwwww.... *sniff* *sniff*... He said this to Go Mi Nam while they were on the treasure bus after he sang a song for her with tears running... I actually cried in this part... Poor Jeremy.. Too bad Go Mi Nam is already in love with Hwang Tae Kyung.. :(

EMOTE VI...an unrequitted love?

"I've known you since we were just little kids.We treated each other like siblings. And since that time, I was very determined to be someone who will always be there whenever you need me.. I'll be the one who'll support you..

but I wonder... Now that we've grown...

When I see that you're smiling with someone else...Why do I feel hurt even though I once said that your happiness is my joy?

My heart cries when I see you hurt by that someone. It breaks when you're about to give up. It feels painful when you're suffering because of that someone.

And yet, here I am... comforting you... telling you to be strong and not to give up.

Seeing you in pain is the worst.
That's why I'll suppress these feelings and turn it into your own strength.Even though I also want you to look at me only, I continue to encourage you ...just for me to avoid seeing you hurt.."

"When will you realize that I love you this much?"

EMOTE V

"The pain that the world has brought upon me is spreading like a disease.
The sinful person that I am is causing others to feel the pain too.
Seeing them hurt by me adds oil to the fire,
..adds more to the feeling of hatred I feel towards myself.
Isn't there any solution for this mess?
If I distance myself from other people..
Will they not like me anymore?
Will they understand why I'd do such a thing?
They know that I have the capability to hurt them unintentionally.
But seeing them hurt by me makes me feel ten times more the pain.
"

EMOTE IV... Getting Jealous with the openness of other's hearts..

It hurts me to see people who can boldly express
what's been kept inside of them.
When the words enter my ears,
they directly pierce my heart.
Seems like my heart is being squeezed by my own feelings,
restlessly waiting for their time to be let out.
But even so, the darkness that I surround myself with
is just too strong to be overcome by what's inside.

EMOTE III

"The fire of life inside me is dying slowly..so slowly...
The emptiness of my heart is overwhelming me.
Life is not supposed to be about this pain..
...but is it for me?
"

EMOTE II

"I think I'm falling...
not for you
not for someone
not for love
but...
for the PAIN...
that's eating my heart away
" (T^T)

EMOTE!!

Life...
It's as if it's breaking..shattered
Falling into pieces..

Tears have already dried up,
What's left is blood.

Blood that my heart once held,
blood that's starting to pour...

this is an exaggeraion of feelings... It's something I made up when I felt sad and down... there's more XD

"Phew!".. What's with the great relief?..

Yesterday, October 1, I presented my talumpati. And today, I feel so relieved that I could now sleep without worrying so much. Want to know how it went? Well, it went great. I believe that I did my best and that I was able to express myself clearly just enough for my classmates to understand what I was talking about. Although, my hands were shaking a lot before I started. Good thing I drank water to calm me down. Well, I hope that I'll get a good grade.

Anyway, if you're wondering what it was about, then here goes:

Ummm, it's basically about the "pag-asa ng bayan". For so long, we always said that our future lies in the hands of the children. But in my oration, I was like saying, "..but is it really true?..that our future lies in the hands of children?"... Here's a line in my oration giving this thought: "Paano nga ba nating masasabing ang kabataan ang siyang pag-asa ng bayan? Na sa simula't simula pa lang ay nakalimutan na silang imulat at hubugin ng kanilang pamilya sa kabutihang asal." In the later part of my talumpati, I pointed out that it should be the citizens of our country who shall be diligent enough to form children that are loyal, brave, respectful and can be trusted. And of course, I also included God in my talumpati.. that we should have faith in him always. And I ended my speech with this: "Kaya ikaw, bata ka man o matanda, simulan mo na ang pagkikilos para sa ating ikauunlad. Dahil alam ko at alam nating lahat na ang totoong pag-asa ng bayan ay ang bawat isa sa atin. Kaya magkaisa na tayong lahat dahil sa pagkakaisa ay may malaking pag-asa."

So what do you think... Now, I'm waiting for the product of my effort: my grade... Good luck to me and to my classmates..XD

Fruits Basket

Here's another manga that I suggest you should read. That is if you're fond of fictional stories which includes "humans turning into an animal from the zodiac when hugged by a member of the opposite sex"... interesting right? :D

FRUITS BASKET by: Natsuki Takaya

Plot: When high school student Tohru Honda's mother died in a car accident, Tohru begins living in a tent and supporting herself. That is, until she finds a home in the least likely of places, inhabited by her classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousins Shigure and Kyo. The Sohmas however live with a curse. Thirteen members of the family are possessed by spirits of the Chinese zodiac and turn into their zodiac animal when hugged by the opposite gender. When Tohru finds out, she promises not to tell and is allowed to keep living with them. The Sohma's curse however, is deeper and darker than Tohru realised, but her presence soon becomes a positive influence on those possessed by the zodiac. She sets out to break the curse, and ends up changing the Sohma clan forever.

Here are the characters:

from left to right:
1st row- Ayame Sohma(snake and older brother of Yuki Sohma), Shigure Sohma(dog, a novelist and always labeled as a pervert (: ), Hatori(dragon... but instead of turning into a dragon, he turns into a seahorse.. he is also the family doctor), kureno (rooster and the first to be freed from the curse)

2nd row- Hiro Sohma(ram, he has a crush on Kisa), Momiji(rabbit, he's the yello2-haired boy ,.. he is always mistaken as a girl), Kisa Sohma (tiger,.. she is a very shy girl), Haru (ox.. people always find him unusual because he has white hair.. he has a relationship with Rin), Rin (horse,.. she is sickly and she doesn't usually attend school), Kagura (boar.. in the picture she's the one below Rin.. she likes Kyo Sohma)

3rd and last row- Ritsu(monkey.. this 'she' is actually a 'he'.. he llikes cross dressing because it makes him feel comfortable), Yuki Sohma (rat.. the child prodigy.. often called "prince" by his classmates. He is smart, handsome etc. almost perfect), Tohru Honda( the main character.. she is always optimistic.. ), Kyo Sohma(cat.. the outcast just like the cat in the story of the Zodiac... he has anger management issues and he considers Yuki as his rival..)

This manga is filled with fun, myteries and of course, romance.. Tohru cares for all the Sohmas.. most especially the cousins Kyo and Yuki... Who will she end up with? the rat who is perfect or the cat who bears the greatest curse of all? Find out by reading Fruits Basket...

Vampire Knight

Plot:Yuki Cross' earliest memory is of being all alone on a snowy night in winter, when she was attacked by an evil "Level E" vampire and saved by a powerful but kind vampire named Kaname Kuran. Ten years later, Yuki, along with her childhood friend, Zero Kiryu are school guardians at the prestigious Cross Academy where her adopted father is the headmaster. The school is hosting an experimental program that is trying to prove that humans and vampires can live together peacefully, in a quest for coexistance.

This is my favorite manga.. title: Vampire Knight... obviously it includes vampires as the title suggests...
Vampire Knight is a shojo manga written by Matsuri Hino. What's a shojo manga? Well, it is where the main character is female.. they call it shounen manga if the lead is male. Anyway, back to the topic: why is Vampire Knight my favorite manga? What's so interesting about it? (if you want to read a summary about the manga you can search it in Wikipedia)

The first thing that attracted me to this manga are the characters:

This is Zero Kiryuu. I like him the most. He has quite a complicated past. He is from a clan of Vampire Hunters but when he was young his family was attacked by a pureblood vampire( a vampire who doesn't have even just a tiny bit of human blood mixed in her own) and he ends up bitten by her. Luckily he was able to survive. The bad news is he becomes a vampire himself. What's worse is he will gradually turn into a Level E vampire(the lowest class of vampire; one who has lost its sense of humanity)if he is not able to drink the blood of the one who bit him. (spoiler: well, he was able to drink the blood of the pureblood vampire who bit him through unexpected means... so he doesn't turn to a Level E..what a relief..XD) Zero hates vampires very much, which means he hates himself too. *sigh* :(

Kaname Kuran. He's the pureblood vampire who saved Yuki from a Level E vampire. Here's another spoiler: he is actually the brother of Yuki... which means Yuki is a pureblood vampire herself. And also, this explains why he treats Yuki differently from everybody else. If you read the manga, you'll see how protective he is of Yuki.

Yuki Cross/ Yuki Kuran... she's the main female character. She loves both Zero and Kaname but in some ways she is being made to choose one over the other.. i still don't know whom she will choose in the end(since the manga isn't finished yet) but I hope that it will be a happy ending for all of them.

Manga Addict... who? Me!!

This picture showing a variety of mangas isn't mine actually... I just wanted to show how much "in love" with manga(particularly Japanese mangas) I am....

A manga is like a Japanese form of comics and print cartons. What's amazing about it is that not only Japanese people read them but also different people of different ages around the world.. that includes me of course..

I mostly like mangas with vampires in them.. why?... I don't know. I get attracted with vampires because of their beautiful faces. But what intrigues me the most is their complicated life or past stories or how they came to be. The more complicated their life is, the more I get interested with the story.

I'll share some of my favorite mangas in my following blogs..XD

Who's the New Karate Kid?

This new Karate Kid is like a "revival" of the first one whose main characters are portrayed by Ralph Macchio(the kid) and Pat Morita(the handyman). I liked the first one so I was curious about this new one. Seeing that Jaden Smith will be the one to act as the kid seemed to make it more interesting. Not to mention Jackie Chan being the Kung Fu master.

Anyway, in the end, I must say that I totally admire this movie. It taught me that martial arts are not just about punches and parries, but maturity and calmness. Therefore, I really recommend young people and those young at heart to watch this magnificent movie. It touched my heart so maybe it could touch yours. . .

BTW, this ;is my favorite movie at the moment. . . another is yet to come. . . :)
